Ben is the boyfriend of Zahra, who works at an artist management company called Cre8tive Music Merchandise. He is played by Danny Babington.
When Jeremy is first introduced to Ben, Ben is in a coma. Jeremy secretly wants Ben to perish so that he can be with Zahra.
Much to Jeremy's chagrin, Ben comes out of his coma. Worse yet, he is slimy individual, coarse in his attitude, and he regards Zahra with disdain. Still, as Ben is oblivious for Jeremy's feelings for Zahra, he offers him a job at his company. Jeremy maintains this relationship with him for two reasons: to get in close to a person who works in music management, and to get in close to a person who is dating the woman he's sleeping with.
Ben is bald, rude, and generally uninterested in the artistic interests of his girlfriend. As a boss, he is money-driven, a fast talker and a haphazard deal-maker. He is hard on his employees, as evidenced by his treatment of Jeremy, making him work on Saturdays. He tells Jeremy he can never silence his Blackberry, except when attending a funeral.
His company represents a good deal of musical artists. He hates the band name Danny Dyer's Chocolate Homunculus, as it is too repulsive to print on a hat.
